The top right area is used to define your search.
The bottom half is the search results and the top left area
gives full information about the individual pointed to or highlighted.
Any field can be used for a search and wildcards can be used.
This screen shows the result of a wildcarded search. We have used
m*donald and the wildcard ( * ) has found McDonald and MacDonald.
Once you have identified the individual you are looking for,
clicking the 'Family' button will show everyone in the household
including people with different surnames e.g. servants, lodgers, etc...
For this screen we used only the birthplace field to find all the
people born in Whitburn. We found 2063 results and to make searching
easier we used the 'Order By' menu item to list them alphabetically.
