West Lothian Council - Local History Library Moving

Post by rhona »

The West Lothian Local History Library is moving again and will have new opening times. . . .

The West Lothian Local History Library is currently decanted out of County Buildings and has been operating from Linlithgow Library since September 2013.

However, from week commencing Sat 7th February, the Local History Library will be closed to allow it to move into the newly refurbished:

County Buildings Annex,
89-91 High Street,
Linlithgow
(The old British Linen Bank, next to The County Buildings).
Tel no. should remain the same: 01506 282491

It will allow them to bring all of our books, maps and photographs back together again, allowing them to deal with our enquires much more efficiently.

The Local History Library will reopen on Tuesday 17th February when their new opening hours will come into effect.

Mondays – Closed

Tuesdays - 10.00am – 5.00pm

Wednesdays - 10.00am – 5.00pm

Thursdays - 10.00am – 5.00pm

Fridays - 10.00am – 5.00pm

First Saturday of each month - 9.00am – 1.00pm

Th WLFHS volunteers will still attend to drop in visits at the Local History Library on a Wednesday and Fridays, should this change we will advise accordingly.
